TORQ Recovery Drink has been designed to work as part of the highly comprehensive and thorough TORQ Recovery System. This system considers the level of activity you are performing and recommends concepts and products from the TORQ range to suit your physical loading in a cumulative fashion. 
 
TORQ Recovery Drink powder is mixed with water to form a very smooth luxurious shake – the fluid content addressing the first of the 4 R’s, ‘hydration’. Our unique matrix of Glucose Polymers, Fructose (Multiple-Transportable Carbohydrates) and Whey Protein Isolate stimulate the rapid absorption of carbohydrate to re-stock vital glycogen stores. Along with our use of high quality Whey Proteins, our active ingredients, D-Ribose, L-Glutamine and blend of carefully selected vitamins and minerals work together to repair and recharge over-stressed muscle fibres. D-Ribose in particular is unique to the TORQ brand and there is no other nutrient available on the market today that is capable of refreshing energy levels at the intra-cellular level. We consider TORQ recovery to be the most thorough and effective formulation of its kind on the market today – yet we flavour it NATURALLY and use no colours or artificial sweeteners. There is not a single ingredient within TORQ recovery’s formulation that isn’t derived from a natural source, or doesn’t naturally-occur within the human body.
 
TORQ recovery represents this 3:1 blend of Multiple Transportable Carbohydrates and high quality Whey Protein.It is generally accepted that consuming Multiple-Transportable Carbohydrates and Whey Protein at a 3:1 ratio immediately after exercise will speed up glycogen synthesis (see fully referenced information below). In other words, it will help you to store carbohydrate more effectively than consuming carbohydrate alone and/or waiting until ‘glycogen storage’ window of opportunity has passed. It is also generally accepted that Whey protein is faster acting, more soluble and absorbed/synthesised more readily than any other kind of protein, thus it provides the amino acids necessary for muscle repair with little delay.
 
It is TORQ’s unique blend of D-Ribose, L-Glutamine, Vitamins and Minerals that sets it apart from other recovery products on the market. L-Glutamine helps to protect the muscles from catabolic (muscle degrading) processes after exercise and also strengthens the immune system. D-Ribose re-charges the muscle cells after exercise so that they have the energy to contract to their full potential within 24 hours, a process that would take up to 3 days without supplemental Ribose. These are particularly expensive ingredients (they represent about 50% of this product, yet are only 9% of the ingredient pool) and it is not unusual for nutrition companies to either avoid using these expensive ingredients altogether or claim that their products contain important components like these, whilst providing too small a dose to have a significant effect. We do not believe in compromise, so every serving of TORQ recovery contains a dose of D-Ribose and L-Glutamine that has been verified by the available research (references at bottom of page). Also, the vitamins and minerals we blend into TORQ recovery are comprehensive. Heavy exercise takes an inevitable toll on the body and our recovery formulation wouldn’t be complete without a generous serving of these essential micro-nutrients.

    Delivery

    How do I place my order?

    1. Online:- Once you have found the item(s) you require simply add them into your shopping basket and proceed to our easy to use checkout.
    2. Telephone:- Our dedicated team are available Monday to Friday 8:30am - 6:30pm and Saturday 9:00am -1:00pm to take your order on 0330 100 2480 (free from most mobiles).

    What are the delivery costs?

    Standard delivery is completely free to most mainland UK addresses for orders of a value of £15 or more. Standard delivery is normally 2-5 working days.

    What guarantees do you provide?

    Thanks to the Distance Selling Regulations you can buy in confidence knowing that you have the same if not better guarantees than if you were to purchase from a retail store. For example, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days, starting from the day after you receive the goods. All products are sourced from official UK importers and covered by manufacturers warranty. If you do need to send items back to us please make sure that you retain proof of postage in the event that it is needed. Please note that all items returned must be suitably packaged (preferably in the original packaging) and in a saleable condition. We are unable to accept returns of products that would not be considered hygienic once the packaging has been opened i.e. undergarments such as padded shorts, bibshorts, etc.

    When will my order arrive?

    We always aim to despatch your goods within 24 hours of receipt of your order (for Cycle to Work orders this is within 24 hours of Hire Agreement approval from your employer). If due to availability this is not possible we will contact you to keep you informed.

    How will my cycle purchase arrive?

    We pride ourselves on going that extra step to ensure you will be satisfied with your cycle, that is why Cycle Solutions (Cycle to Work) Ltd have boxes tailor-made.

    Will my cycle be a flat pack?

    All cycles supplied are fully built and made ready to ride by CyTech-NVQ qualified technicians before the pedals are removed and the handlebars turned in order to repackage.

    I am not happy with a product/service. How do I make a complaint?

    We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and will try to rectify any problems you may have.     Returns

    Warranty

    Cycle Solutions offer a full 18-month warranty on bikes purchased through our online shop.

    In the unfortunate event of your purchase being affected by a warranty-covered fault, please inform us by email (aftersales@cyclesolutions.co.uk) or telephone (0330 100 2480)

    Once a warranty claim has been placed we will review the claim and advise on an appropriate course of action, please do not return your item until you have spoken to an advisor.

    Please allow a minimum of 15 working days from receipt of returned item(s) for repair/replacement under warranty. We expect to be able to return the items wthin a maxmum 30 working days, however, specific timescales can change based on the requirements of the individual case.

    Most bikes and accessories are covered by a standard manufacturers warranty but please be aware that there are faults/issues that are NOT covered by your warranty. This includes;

    • Any normal wear and tear from using the product
    • Improperly installed or repaired products (always follow the instruction guides for any product set-up or installation)
    • Modifications to products
    • Stripped pedal threads - a comprehensive guide on the correct installation of pedals is sent out with every bike
    • E-bike batteries and associated componentry

    Item/s must be returned in the original packaging, unused and unopened within 14 days of notification to cancel. If Collect+ is not being used, then the goods are to be returned at the customer's expense. Proof of postage will be required as Cycle Solutions is unable to accept liability for loss or damage whilst in transit back to us.


    Additional non-returnable items:

    ·         Any Products that due to hygiene reasons, cannot be returned. This includes all undergarments (including socks) as well as padded shorts, bibshorts, tights, etc

    ·         Downloadable software products

    ·         Some health and personal care items

    ·         CD/DVD's or software that have been opened.

    ·         Any Food or drink products that, upon return, will be within 3 months of the sell-by date.

    ·         Gift cards.

    ·         Customised bike orders.

    Your refund will be done with 30 days of receipt of returned goods and will not be done until the goods are received and inspected.

    Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
     

    Returning a product under the WEEE Regulations.

    What do the WEEE regulations mean?

    WEEE (The Waste Electrical and electronic Equipment) Directive is UK law that governs the disposal and recycling of all electrical items. The law, introduced in 2014, puts the emphasis on the producers and suppliers of electrical equipment to pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electricals.   

    As a retailer that sells new Electrical and Electronic products we will take back old items, provided it is a like-for-like replacement when you buy a new product from us. We will then responsibly dispose of the old product ensuring that it doesn’t end up in landfill.

    Old products must be returned directly to our shop or head office (details below) within 28 days of your new purchase, clearly marked as WEEE.

    Disposing of equipment yourself

    If you choose not to send your equipment back to us for disposal then you can dispose of any electricals or electronics yourself at your local recycling centre, who will dispose of your equipment via a controlled recycling process.

    What products fall under WEEE Regulations?

    As part of the WEEE regulations, all electrical and electronic goods produced after August 2005 that fall under WEEE regulations should be clearly marked with a crossed-out bin symbol which means they should not be included with household waste so that they can be recycled

    As a responsible retailer we take all steps possible to ensure that our business meets all requirements of any EU & UK consumer protection laws, particularly the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and other legislation specific to the products that we sell.

    Our Click & Collect service offers all the benefits of shopping online combined with specialist personal retail experience in one of our stores. Simply order your items, select Click & Collect and pick up your item at a time that's convenient for you. Best of all the service is completely FREE!

    Use our website to browse our catalogue of products with stock availability. When you find the item you want simply add it to your basket like you usually would.

    When can I collect my order?

    For items in stock at the chosen collection store, we will normally have your item ready to collect within 1-2 working days.

    For items which are at the warehouse your order will be ready to collect in the time indicated on the website; or if at another store approximately 3 working days – please call in advance if you are making a long journey, just in case!

     

    How will I know when my order is ready?

    For every order we will send you an e-mail to let you know when your order is ready to collect. If you’ve ordered a bike we will contact you once you have placed your order to arrange a collection time.
     

    What do I need to collect my order?

    Please bring with you your confirmation e-mail, a photo proof of ID (i.e. passport, driving licence), and proof of address.

    We will hold your order in store for 10 days, if you have any problems with getting to the store to collect your order please feel free to contact the collection store and we will happily extend this time where possible.
     

    Can Someone Else Collect My Order?

    Please contact the store you have chosen to collect from in advance and we will do our best to accommodate any changes relating to collection. 
     

    How do I cancel/change my order?

    Pre-Order

    With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.

    You Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that, as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up and get it sent out to you - it often never even hits the stock room shelves!

    Pre-Launch

    With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.

    So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.
