Returning a product under the WEEE Regulations.

What do the WEEE regulations mean?

WEEE (The Waste Electrical and electronic Equipment) Directive is UK law that governs the disposal and recycling of all electrical items. The law, introduced in 2014, puts the emphasis on the producers and suppliers of electrical equipment to pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electricals.

As a retailer that sells new Electrical and Electronic products we will take back old items, provided it is a like-for-like replacement when you buy a new product from us. We will then responsibly dispose of the old product ensuring that it doesn’t end up in landfill.

Old products must be returned directly to our shop or head office (details below) within 28 days of your new purchase, clearly marked as WEEE.

Disposing of equipment yourself

If you choose not to send your equipment back to us for disposal then you can dispose of any electricals or electronics yourself at your local recycling centre, who will dispose of your equipment via a controlled recycling process.

You can locate your closest collection site by entering your postcode at www.recycle-more.co.uk

What products fall under WEEE Regulations?

As part of the WEEE regulations, all electrical and electronic goods produced after August 2005 that fall under WEEE regulations should be clearly marked with a crossed-out bin symbol which means they should not be included with household waste so that they can be recycled

As a responsible retailer we take all steps possible to ensure that our business meets all requirements of any EU & UK consumer protection laws, particularly the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and other legislation specific to the products that we sell.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding this process, please contact us at[email protected].

Merida Big Nine 6000 29er 2019 Hardtail Mountain Bike - Silver

Season:2019

Brand:Merida

Code:BigNine6000-Silver

Geometry is competition focussed with a sharp, responsive ride. Key highlights; long reach, steep seat angle, slack head angle and low front end. A 30.9mm seat tube for internal cable dropper seat post allows for later upgrades.
The heart of the bike is the frame and this one has a less demanding carbon lay-up than the CF5. Aero profiled downtube, leaf spring profiled seat and chainstays for maximum comfort. Boost axles standard and a tapered headtube for stiffness and steering precision. Smart Entry cable system for rattle free running. 1,290g – M +/- 3%

NANO MATRIX CARBON
To protect the integrity of carbon frames, the fibres are bonded together with an epoxy resin with added nanoparticles, increasing impact resistance by up to 40%.

AWS
When creating the individual carbon elements, an inflatable bladder is used to ensure there are no wrinkles inside the tube as these can add weight and create weakness. This results in a lighter, stiffer and stronger frame.

FLEX-STAY
The seat and chainstay profile and carbon lay-up schedule are adapted to work as a flat leaf spring, absorbing surface bumps and reducing vibrations.

X-TAPER HEADTUBE
Using a tapered head tube with 1 1/8" bearings in the top and 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" in the bottom creates superb stiffness and precise, confidence-inspiring steering.

INTERNAL CABLE
Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.

SMART ENTRY
Cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trails or roads get rough. All inlets are completely interchangeable to deal with Di2, hydraulic hoses, brake cable and gear cable housings etc.

DI2 READY
Bikes/frames with the symbol ‘Di2 Ready’ are prepared for the installation of Di2 technology with battery mounting in the seat post or within the fork steerer.

12-148 THRU-AXLE ‘Boost’
New Boost standard – wider axle widths; 110 mm front and 148 mm rear, allowing a shallower spoke angle for stiffer wheels, especially beneficial in 29ers.

15-110 THRU-AXLE ‘Boost’
New Boost standard – wider axle widths; 110 mm front and 148 mm rear, allowing a shallower spoke angle for stiffer wheels, especially beneficial in 29ers.

C-S POST MOUNT DISC
Post mount disc brake callipers fit directly onto the seat stay for a strong and light connection whilst a chainstay post mount positions the calliper on the chainstay within the rear triangle for extra protection and better distribution of braking forces. Another benefit is that internal cable routing is also easier and neater via the chainstay.

REMOTE LOCK-OUT
The suspension fork and/or rear shock can be locked, either directly or via a ‘remote control’ lever on the handlebar.
