Returning a product under the WEEE Regulations.

What do the WEEE regulations mean?

WEEE (The Waste Electrical and electronic Equipment) Directive is UK law that governs the disposal and recycling of all electrical items. The law, introduced in 2014, puts the emphasis on the producers and suppliers of electrical equipment to pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electricals.

As a retailer that sells new Electrical and Electronic products we will take back old items, provided it is a like-for-like replacement when you buy a new product from us. We will then responsibly dispose of the old product ensuring that it doesn’t end up in landfill.

Old products must be returned directly to our shop or head office (details below) within 28 days of your new purchase, clearly marked as WEEE.

Disposing of equipment yourself

If you choose not to send your equipment back to us for disposal then you can dispose of any electricals or electronics yourself at your local recycling centre, who will dispose of your equipment via a controlled recycling process.

You can locate your closest collection site by entering your postcode at www.recycle-more.co.uk

What products fall under WEEE Regulations?

As part of the WEEE regulations, all electrical and electronic goods produced after August 2005 that fall under WEEE regulations should be clearly marked with a crossed-out bin symbol which means they should not be included with household waste so that they can be recycled

As a responsible retailer we take all steps possible to ensure that our business meets all requirements of any EU & UK consumer protection laws, particularly the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and other legislation specific to the products that we sell.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding this process, please contact us at [email protected].

Whyte Syphon S 29er 2026 Full Suspension Mountain Bike - Aquamarine

Season:2026

Brand:Whyte Bikes

Code:SyphonSBLUGLS

Ride first, specs second

You want a bike that wakes you up on cold mornings and keeps the grin on all day. The Syphon does that. It feels planted on chunky climbs, alive and flickable through tight turns, and composed when you point it down hard. It turns long days into proper adventures without fuss.

Why it works

This bike uses a balanced mix of travel and geometry to make steep, technical lines feel manageable and flowy singletrack feel fast. It’s firm where you need efficiency and plush where you need plush. The result is confident traction, predictable handling, and a ride that asks you to push a little harder.

Suspension and traction

Up front you get a Pike fork that soaks hits and keeps the wheel tracking. The tuned Deluxe shock settles the rear into the trail and keeps the rear wheel planted. Big 29in rubber bites into roots and loam. Together they let you carry speed and pick clean lines.

Built for mileage

The frame is 6061 alloy with smart sizing and adjustable geometry. It’s tough without feeling heavy. Practical touches—UDH dropout, Boost spacing, tubeless-ready rims—mean you can ride harder and maintain it easier.

Simple, serviceable kit

Shimano Deore 12-speed shifting and a 30T narrow/wide chainring give a wide, reliable gear range for long climbs and fast descents. Four-piston TRP brakes haul you down the hill with control. The dropper has full insertion and size-specific travel so your bike feels dialled in right away.

Key Features:

  • 6061 hydroformed T6 alloy frame with proportional sizing, geometry adjustment and UDH dropout
  • RockShox Pike Base 29in fork (140mm) + RockShox Deluxe Select RT rear shock (135mm), custom-tuned
  • 29in wheels front and rear (size S: 29in front / 27.5in rear ready), Whyte Trail rims tubeless-ready, 30mm internal width
