Warranty

Cycle Solutions offer a full 18-month warranty on bikes purchased through our online shop, in line with the guidance set out in the Consumer Rights Acts 2015.

In the unfortunate event of your purchase being affected by a warranty-covered fault, please inform us by email ([email protected]). Please note that our Aftersales Department's operating hours are 09:00AM to 17:30PM Monday to Friday.

Once a warranty claim has been placed we will review the claim and advise on an appropriate course of action, please do not return your item until you have spoken to an advisor.

Please allow a minimum of 15 working days from receipt of returned item(s) for repair/replacement under warranty. We expect to be able to return the items within a maximum 30 working days, however, specific timescales can change based on the requirements of the individual case.

Most bikes and accessories are covered by a standard manufacturer's warranty but please be aware that there are faults/issues that are NOT covered by your warranty. This includes;

  • Any normal wear and tear from using the product
  • Improperly installed or repaired products (always follow the instruction guides for any product set-up or installation)
  • Modifications to products
  • Stripped pedal threads - a comprehensive guide on the correct installation of pedals is sent out with every bike
  • E-bike batteries and associated componentry

Returns

We operate a 365-day return policy so that if you change your mind, the unused items can be returned to us so that you can purchase with complete peace of mind.

Once you have spoken to our aftersales department, you may need to return the item, you can arrange this via any courier/delivery service that you choose.

Please contact us in advance if you wish to return a bike

If a bike needs to be returned due to an incorrect size being ordered, or the item is no longer wanted or ordered in error, then collection can be arranged at a cost of £40.00. If you do not wish to use our collection service then any alternative return method will need to be arranged at your own cost.

Any Other Returns

Before sending your item back, please download and complete our returns form, completing all relevant sections and including this with your return - if your item is returned without the form included it can take significantly longer to correctly process the item and review the issue.

Item/s must be returned in the original packaging (in a resaleable condition), unused and unopened within 14-days of notification to cancel.

If Collect+ is not being used, then proof of postage will be required as Cycle Solutions is unable to accept liability for loss or damage whilst in transit back to us.


Additional non-returnable items:

· Any products that due to hygiene reasons, cannot be returned. This includes all undergarments (including socks) as well as padded shorts,bibshorts, tights, etc

· Downloadable software products

· Some health and personal care items

· CD/DVD's or software that have been opened

· Any Food or drink products that, upon return, will be within 3 months of the sell-by date

· Gift cards

· Customised bike orders

Your refund will be done with 30 days of receipt of returned goods and will not be done until the goods are received and inspected.

What do the WEEE regulations mean?

WEEE (The Waste Electrical and electronic Equipment) Directive is UK law that governs the disposal and recycling of all electrical items. The law, introduced in 2014, puts the emphasis on the producers and suppliers of electrical equipment to pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electricals.

As a retailer that sells new Electrical and Electronic products we will take back old items, provided it is a like-for-like replacement when you buy a new product from us. We will then responsibly dispose of the old product ensuring that it doesn’t end up in landfill.

Old products must be returned directly to our shop or head office (details below) within 28 days of your new purchase, clearly marked as WEEE.

The Ksyrium Pro Exalith takes all of the best features from the Ksyrium Pro and adds our exclusive Exalith rim surface treatment. This means incredible versatility and all-round ability combined with stunning looks and amazing braking performance. Exalith treated Exalith is a special chemical treatment that penetrates deep within the aluminum alloy, offering multiple benefits: - The rim is reinforced, notably at the brake track, so there’s very low wear over time - The braking power is greatly improved, reducing stopping distances by 20% over traditional aluminum rims, whether dry or wet. Specific Exalith brake pads need to be used and are delivered with the wheels. These ensure maximum braking power, protect the rim from scratches and ensure quiet braking and limited wear - The rim gets a stunning all black finish, not only on the profile but also on the brake track, which means it will keep its matt black finish for thousands of kilometers Wider, stronger, stiffer Ksyrium Pro Exalith uses Fore drilling to keep the rim light and strong, Zicral spokes that are stiffer and lighter than their traditional steel counterparts, and Isopulse lacing for improved stability and stiffness under high loads. The new wider rim (17mm internal width) features ISM4D technology (Inter Spoke Milling) to remove even more weight and the rim now weighs in at an impressive 405g. It does this by removing any excess material from the lower bridge and sidewalls of the rim, making sure the rim is super light but stays strong. Matching Yksion Pro tires Total wheel weight is 1475g and comes equipped with our Yksion Pro tires in 25mm that offer a supple 127 TPI casing, Kevlar beads and a well-balanced rubber compound. This creates the best blend of grip and rolling resistance and a weight of only 210g in 25mm. The front wheel comes with the Griplink version, which offers a specific tread pattern to evacuate water quickly when cornering to increase confidence and speed in difficult conditions. It also offers very strong Kevlar puncture protection for added safety. The rear wheel comes with the Powerlink version, which sports a more supple nylon puncture protection instead of Kevlar to lower rolling resistance. To reduce rolling resistance and increase speed even further, the tread pattern is optimized to reduce the pressure on the ground, while improving water evacuation from the center to increase traction and efficiency in wet conditions. Ksyrium Pro Exalith is available with 25mm tires. Yksion Pro tires are also available in 28mm for even more comfort.
