Warranty

Cycle Solutions offer a full 18-month warranty on bikes purchased through our online shop, in line with the guidance set out in the Consumer Rights Acts 2015.

In the unfortunate event of your purchase being affected by a warranty-covered fault, please inform us by email ([email protected]). Please note that our Aftersales Department's operating hours are 09:00AM to 17:30PM Monday to Friday.

Once a warranty claim has been placed we will review the claim and advise on an appropriate course of action, please do not return your item until you have spoken to an advisor.

Please allow a minimum of 15 working days from receipt of returned item(s) for repair/replacement under warranty. We expect to be able to return the items within a maximum 30 working days, however, specific timescales can change based on the requirements of the individual case.

Most bikes and accessories are covered by a standard manufacturer's warranty but please be aware that there are faults/issues that are NOT covered by your warranty. This includes;

  • Any normal wear and tear from using the product
  • Improperly installed or repaired products (always follow the instruction guides for any product set-up or installation)
  • Modifications to products
  • Stripped pedal threads - a comprehensive guide on the correct installation of pedals is sent out with every bike
  • E-bike batteries and associated componentry

Returns

We operate a 365-day return policy so that if you change your mind, the unused items can be returned to us so that you can purchase with complete peace of mind.

Once you have spoken to our aftersales department, you may need to return the item, you can arrange this via any courier/delivery service that you choose.

Please contact us in advance if you wish to return a bike

If a bike needs to be returned due to an incorrect size being ordered, or the item is no longer wanted or ordered in error, then collection can be arranged at a cost of £40.00. If you do not wish to use our collection service then any alternative return method will need to be arranged at your own cost.

Any Other Returns

Before sending your item back, please download and complete our returns form, completing all relevant sections and including this with your return - if your item is returned without the form included it can take significantly longer to correctly process the item and review the issue.

Returns Form

Item/s must be returned in the original packaging (in a resaleable condition), unused and unopened within 14-days of notification to cancel.

If Collect+ is not being used, then proof of postage will be required as Cycle Solutions is unable to accept liability for loss or damage whilst in transit back to us.


Additional non-returnable items:

· Any products that due to hygiene reasons, cannot be returned. This includes all undergarments (including socks) as well as padded shorts,bibshorts, tights, etc

· Downloadable software products

· Some health and personal care items

· CD/DVD's or software that have been opened

· Any Food or drink products that, upon return, will be within 3 months of the sell-by date

· Gift cards

· Customised bike orders

Your refund will be done with 30 days of receipt of returned goods and will not be done until the goods are received and inspected.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

What do the WEEE regulations mean?

WEEE (The Waste Electrical and electronic Equipment) Directive is UK law that governs the disposal and recycling of all electrical items. The law, introduced in 2014, puts the emphasis on the producers and suppliers of electrical equipment to pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electricals.

As a retailer that sells new Electrical and Electronic products we will take back old items, provided it is a like-for-like replacement when you buy a new product from us. We will then responsibly dispose of the old product ensuring that it doesn’t end up in landfill.

Old products must be returned directly to our shop or head office (details below) within 28 days of your new purchase, clearly marked as WEEE.

As the name might suggest, the Roadster 26 shares its heritage with our classic Roadster but has been specifically adapted for the shorter gentleman, or indeed anyone who would benefit from an increased ease of mounting. It employs smaller 26 inch wheels and has a lower bottom bracket, but the Roadster 26 retains all the refinement and elegance of the traditional British town bicycle.

The handmade Brooks B72 leather saddle lets you ride in the utmost comfort, and the combination of a fully enclosed chaincase and enamelled mudguards keeps you clean and looking good as you enjoy the smooth experience. Its elegance is matched by the quality of components, such as the reliable hub brakes and Schwalbe puncture resistant tyres, all of which bring the very best of modern technology to this most iconic of cycles.

For further customisation there are two versions of this model: the Roadster 26 Classic, with 3 speed hub gears for lightweight reliability and simplicity, and the Sovereign, which features 5 speed hub gears for all terrains, a handy frame-fitted lock and a front dynamo headlamp that never needs batteries. The Roadster 26 can therefore be seen as the best of old fashioned gentlemanly cycling but with the benefits of a smaller frame and high end modern componentry, giving you a lifetime of riding pleasure.

  • Smaller Roadster frame with classic geometry and elegant upright riding position: Comfortable ’sit up and beg’ style upright riding position that allows you a good view of other road users and the scenery, and the added bonus of encouraging a healthy posture. With a lower bottom bracket and correspondingly lower stand-over height for ease of mounting and dismounting. The frame is hand-built using 100 year old traditional methods - with tubing hand-brazed into lugs - for the attention to detail that only a frame crafted by hand can possess.

  • Large ’ding-dong’ bell: lovely and loud, announce your arrival with Pashley’s splendid ‘ding-dong’ bell.

  • Classic 3 speed hub gears: With a traditional easy-to-use thumb gear lever, they allow you to glide along flatter terrain with ease and climb inclines at a gentle pace. Fully enclosed gear system that requires minimal maintenance.

  • Reflectors for added visibility: front, rear, tyre and pedal reflectors all help to keep you safer on the road at night.

  • Low maintenance hub brakes and gears: enclosed and sealed from all weathers, hub brakes and gears are long-lasting and robust and give excellent stopping power come rain or shine.

  • Traditional style mudguards: with beautiful hand-applied gold-line detail, they protect you from unsightly mud splashes, giving all-weather practicality.

  • Traditional Brooks B72 leather sprung saddle: Classically sprung for supreme comfort. First released in 1935, it’s a lightweight touring saddle with unique loop springs incorporated within the saddle. The leather allows the saddle to breathe and form to your shape over time becoming uniquely comfortable. With handy rear luggage loops.

  • Classic frame-fitted pump: a traditional design in highly polished chrome, it fits securely to the cycle frame via integrated pump-pegs; easily at-hand when your tyres need an extra top-up of air.

  • Protective chainguard: a streamlined chainguard that protects you from greasy oil marks, and helps prevent your attire from catching in the chain.

  • Classic tyres with puncture protection: a reliable tyre with a puncture protection insert, and a tread design that allows for secure contact with the road surface but with a low rolling resistance.
